Selling Coins FAQ

Find answers to common questions about our coin appraisal process. We believe in transparency and providing a pressure-free experience for every collector.

Do you charge for coin appraisals?

No. All coin appraisals are free. We’ll examine your collection, explain what you have, and give you an offer with no pressure to sell.

What should I bring to my appraisal?

Bring any coins, currency, or related paperwork you have. Keeping items in their original holders or containers is best—please don’t clean or polish your coins before you come in.

How do you determine what my coins are worth?

We look at rarity, demand, metal content, and condition. We use current market guides and our experience with similar collections to give you a fair, competitive offer.

Do I have to decide to sell my coins right away?

No. You are never required to sell. Many people come in just to learn more about what they have. You’re welcome to take your time and think about our offer.

What kinds of items do you buy?

We buy U.S. and world coins in silver and gold, old coins, and paper currency. If you’re unsure about an item, feel free to bring it in and we’ll let you know.
